Individual and Couples Therapy
-
People come to therapy for many reasons — anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, major life transitions, or simply feeling stuck. Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what’s holding you back and to build the tools you need to move forward.
We recommend starting with a free 15-minute phone consultation to talk about your needs and how we can help.
-
It depends on your needs and goals. Some clients come weekly, others less often.
For couples, we usually recommend weekly sessions to learn and practice new ways of connecting. We’ll discuss your goals in the first session and tailor the pace and approach to you.
-
Individuals: 50 minutes
Couples: 90 minutes
In your first session, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy, your history, and what’s most important to you. We’ll collaborate on a personalized plan based on your strengths and desired outcomes.

We are both certified in Imago Relationship Therapy, a proven approach that helps couples move from conflict to connection.
Relationships naturally go through stages — from romance to disconnection — and often our patterns are shaped by early life experiences. Using Imago dialogue, we teach partners how to truly listen, understand, and connect with greater intention.
-
No. We do not provide therapy while you are actively involved in divorce proceedings or custody/access disputes. Once your court process is complete, we are happy to work with you to support healing and next steps.
-

We do not bill insurance directly. Please confirm your coverage with your benefits provider. If you’re covered, we’ll provide a receipt you can submit for reimbursement.
-
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments or late cancellations are charged 100% of the session fee.
Intensives
-
A couples intensive is an extended session from one day to several days in length dedicated to making meaningful progress in a short period of time.
If weekly sessions aren’t enough or you want to accelerate your growth, an intensive offers focused, immersive work. You’ll work with both Richard and Jane as co-therapists, giving you balanced, supportive perspectives throughout the process.
-
Couples at any stage of their relationship:
–New partners building a strong foundation
–Engaged couples creating a relationship vision
–Long-term couples wanting to reconnect–Partners caught in recurring conflict
–Relationships navigating a crisis
-
An intensive is not recommended if there is:
–Ongoing infidelity
–Domestic violence
–Significant untreated mental health concerns
We start with a free consult to confirm that an intensive is the right approach for you.
